To declare His glory, display His grace & demonstrate His generosity

Moving, children and schools

There’s a lot to think about when moving your family to a new country. Our children aren’t yet in school but hopefully they will one day. Now we know that there is no perfect schooling system (whether at home or by the state) but there are a few things we like about the system in our new country.

There’s less testing, there’s more outdoor and practical stuff and they learn languages from the start of school (6 or 7). For a brief intro into primary schools in Sweden read this.

  1. Very true – trust God for open doors. I think our children will grow up the better for their mix of cultures and world views. Mine will have had 4 years of the Russian system before starting again in Tallinn.
